Jump Off Joe Butte is one of the summits in the Horse Heaven Hills in southeastern Washington, a few miles south of Kennewick. This high point is the site of numerous wind turbines and communications towers. I saw the wind turbines from afar while driving south on Interstate 82 and felt compelled to examine the place. The view of Kennewick was very nice.

As I approached the top of the hill, I had this view of wind turbines.

The butte is at the center of this WikiMapia aerial view.
